If the world has to thank someone for inventing “toilets ” and “lighthouses” then the credit deserves to be that of the………….
Egyptian civilization is always a realm of wonder and grandeur. Egyptian kings are called as ” Pharoh ” ,the whole society is classified into three classes namely:
2-Scribes and priests
3-Farmers and peasants
pyramids and Nile add beauty to the land of the golden sand.
Egyptians were extremely intelligent people in many walks of life
This is “Ramses”, the great “Pharoh”. He invented the police system to the world. One picture shows his real face and another the sculpture.
It is an obvious fact that civilizations are found only in river banks ,and Egypt is no exception. This river is the only reason for the civilization to even exist. Blessed with abundant sources of fish and minerals ,the river was their only dependence. Since the river is always active, there was never a problem with paucity of water. Nile enabled the Egyptian to navigate via water and build ports. the water from Nile was used to the optimum level for many purposes, every person in Egypt had access to use Nile, it was their “national treasure”
It is however a known fact that Egyptians might have some problems with food and they could not have tasted anything different because the hieroglyphs (Egyptian writings) constantly mentions only fishes, wheat ,rice , boars, ducks, etc. since they had little or exorbitant rainfall ever year it is evident that they were impervious to wide variety of vegetables and fruits.mostly their diet was healthy and simple
Wine it seems to be an important “dessert in the desert “ ,it illustrates the fact that they had plenty of grapes.
Hieroglyphs tells us everything about their culture. Mostly Egyptians worshiped animals as god. The most common animals we know are – eagles, jackals, horses, crocodiles, tortoise, snake ,wild cats, lion ,cats, hippos and bulls
Cat was the most common pet that shared a special place in the heart and houses of the Egyptians. Mostly all the gods are depicted to be in form of half human and half animal. example- Horus was a eagle headed man and Anubis was a jackal head.
Grasshoppers and beatle were always a great problem with the Egyptians as they were a huge hindrance to the growth of crops. Mostly snakes were sometimes bred by the locals to take care of the pest. Pharoh always had exotic pets including monkeys and giraffe. hunting was the prime interest of the Pharoh ,they hunted wild boars and crocodiles in their hunting season. It is always a strange fact that the Pharohs had the custom of raising crocodiles in their palaces.
